A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

I am so blessed to have the opportunity to serve as the 2023-2024 Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County President. As a nearly lifetime resident of Rankin County, I am passionate about working in my community and doing all I can to ensure future generations are given the tools they need to ensure a successful adulthood.

The Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County is a 501(C)3 charitable organization which focuses on serving children and helping families provide stability for those they love. Founded in 1986, the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County is comprised of a group of women who feel called to serve and make a positive impact in the lives of children. Our motto of “Caring Hearts. Helping Hands. Changing Lives.” is the focal point in everything we do.

It is an exciting time for JA of Rankin County! We are expanding our efforts and touching more lives than ever before. In the past year alone, our members committed more than 4,500 hours towards helping the children of Rankin County! This year, and in the years to come, we are hoping to continue that momentum and ensure there is no child who goes without food, clothing, healthcare services, a home or education in our community.

It was once said that, “Your passion becomes your legacy when you serve others, being who you are, doing what you love,” and that is exactly what the members of JA of Rankin County aim to do. Our passion is to let every child know there is hope and that they are loved. Facing hard situations head-on, being the light, giving hope and rolling up our sleeves to help those unable to help themselves is the legacy we are leaving behind. I am so excited to see all that this chapter will continue to accomplish over the next year, and for all of the years to come!
