Rendering charitable services for children of our county since 1986

JUNIOR AUXILIARY OF RANKIN COUNTY
Serving Rankin County since 1986

Junior Auxiliary is a national non-profit organization that encourages members to render charitable services which are beneficial to the general public, with particular emphasis on children!

The Rankin County Chapter was chartered by a group of caring, enthusiastic women in 1986 and continues to grow and thrive, serving one of the fastest growing counties in the state. Ladies who live and/or work in Rankin County dedicate time to help children and families throughout the community.

On a typical day, most of us worry about what to wear, our daily meetings, where we can pick up lunch and if we can make it to the cleaners before they close. However, right here in Rankin County we have mothers and fathers that aren’t sure where their next meal will come from. They worry about how they will afford school supplies and clothes for their kids and where will they get gas for their cars, or will their cars even crank?

JARC members work tirelessly to provide solutions for our neighbors right here in Rankin County. JARC currently provides 10 projects that are designed to help families get back on their feet. Our projects include providing back packs and school supplies, educating children on child predators, painting some of the facilities at the Mississippi Children’s Home at Whitfield and supplying moms and dads with much needed clothes for their children.

We want to help these Rankin County parents build strong families so they don't have to endure hunger and hardship any longer. We hope you will read more about each of our projects offered and join us in the fight to help our community families before it's too late. We have so many needs right at our own doorsteps and we hope you will be encouraged to join us in meeting those needs through your support of JARC. Every child deserves to know that they can achieve anything and, most importantly, that someone is there for them.
