Provides a self-esteem program for 6-12th grade girls who reside at Oak Circle Center.

How it works

Character Counts is a program that addresses issues of low self-esteem among young girls.  Committee members meet monthly to interact with the residents at OCC and address topics such as developing healthy relationships, promoting confidence and well-being, benefits of a balanced diet and physical activitiy, and positive ways to express themselves.  Campus leaders are present during the 1-2 hour meetings each month.  The committee may provide snacks and activities.
