2018 CHILDREN’S BENEFIT GALA
Calling All Young Artists! Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County invites you to
Step Right Up, and show us your very best “Under The Big Top” vintage circus inspired original artwork!
All Rankin County students are eligible to enter. Grade Division Winners and Overall Winner will be chosen by an Art Judging Panel. All Winners will receive recognition and their artwork will be featured at our 2018 Children’s Benefit Gala on February 24, 2018 at McClain Lodge. Overall Winner will receive an enlarged Art Print of their masterpiece; their artwork will be used as the cover of our Gala program AND a $100 CASH PRIZE!

Contest Rules and Deadlines
-Rankin County Students are eligible to submit an ORIGINAL artwork by Nov. 17th deadline.
– Artists may use tempera, watercolors, acrylics, inks, crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils.
-Submissions must be on 8×10 or 8.5 x11 white paper or white cardstock. Please do not mount, mat or frame artwork.
-Artwork must portray a vintage-inspired “Under The Big Top” circus theme.
-Submit artwork to your teacher or school office. Submissions will be picked up by JARC.
-All artwork must be accompanied by a completed Entry Form.
-Winning entries will be chosen by a panel of judges. Division Winners (K-3, 4-6, 7-12) will all receive a Prize Ribbon and Media Recognition of their work. Overall will receive a $100 cash prize, an enlarged Art Print of their work to be displayed at their school and their art will be featured on our Children’s Benefit Gala program.
-JARC reserves the right to use all submissions for advertising and promotional materials.
-Submission of artwork gives JARC full copyright of image.
